Nisga'a Highway Closure both directions Gingolx to Laxgalts'ap

Closed in both directions from Greenville to Gingolx (Kincolith) (28.8 km) because of High Avalanche Hazard. No detour available. Next update at 11 AM. Estimated time of opening is 2 PM. Updated on Thu Feb 8 at 5:39 am PST. (ID# 273237)

Please be aware that construction work related to the replacement of the one lane bridge at km 82 of the Nisga’a Highway 113 will commence during the week of February 5, 2018.

The project will run until approximately September 2018. Construction initially involves creating a detour adjacent to the existing bridge. Once the detour is functional the existing bridge will be removed and a new two lane bridge will be built.
