On January 29, 2025, the Council Of Elders took oath of office at the special sitting of Wilp Si’ayuukhl Nisga’a, Chairperson of the Council of Elders, Alvin Azak, Sim’oogit Lik’in̍skw conducted the oath of office ceremony. The Executive appointed the following as regular and alternate members. The Chairperson Council of Elders, and the Council of Elders provide cultural advice, guidance to the house, lead in cultural protocols, and contribute to the translation and revitalization of Nisga’a Language & Culture.
