SUPERVISOR: Delegated Team Lead
HOURS: 35 hours per week | TERM: Full Time – Permanent | LOCATIONS: New Aiyansh
JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Work Assistant (SWA) supports the Delegated Social Workers on Multidisciplinary Teams in the areas of Intake, Family Service, and Guardianship by assisting Social Workers with some of the Non-Delegated day to day casework functions and activities. The SWA coordinates and caries out administrative tasks in addition to providing direct support and assistance to children and youth in care, parents, caregivers, extended families, and Aboriginal Communities. The Delegated Social Worker and/or Team Leader retain full decision-making responsibilities for case management decisions.
