Notice to Participate – Housing Condition Assessment

Dear Home Owners,

On February 21, 2020, the Nisga’a Nation as represented by NLG and the 4 Village Governments entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BC Housing. The purpose is to build capacity within our housing administration and to develop and share best residential asset management practices. We believe through this MOU, and the data gathered, it is the key to developing these best practices. With you, the Village Governments, and NLG committed to working together we can ensure that this will be delivered.

Please we encourage you to participate in the collection of housing data by allowing us to perform a condition assessment of your home. Also note that this is a data collection exercise that will provide you, the Village Governments, and NLG with the much needed data on homes so we can work together to address our housing needs.
