16 hour opening, Wednesday, June 26th 6:00 to 22:00 and 16 hour opening, Thursday, June 27th 6:00 to 22:00
Participants are required to possess a valid Nisg̱a’a Fisheries Licence and a Valid “Gillnet” Commercial Fishing License
The boundary for all marine IS openings is the DFO Salmon management Area 3-12 in front of Gingolx
Sockeye Salmon will be the target species for this fishery. Pink, Chum and Coho Salmon, will also be purchased. Fish will be refused if it does not meet the quality standards established in Nisg̱a’a Fisheries Regulations 2002.
Fish will be purchased only if:
• Placed immediately in slush
Any Steelhead or Chinook caught should be released if healthy, or otherwise taken as food and reported to a NFWD catch monitor.
No maximum limit on Sockeye, Pink, Chum or Coho Salmon per vessel.
Nisg̱a’a Fisheries Licence: Licence renewal and purchases can be purchased at Nisg̱a’a Fisheries office during regular business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) Monday to Friday.
