The Nisg̱a’a Citizenship Card confirms Nisg̱a’a citizenship for Nisg̱a’a Programs and Services under the Nisg̱a’a Treaty. Nisg̱a’a citizens residing permanently in Canada can request a Nisg̱a’a Citizenship Card by contacting the Citizenship Team:

  1. In-person at Nisg̱a’a Lisims Government, 2000 Lisims Dr., New Aiyansh, BC.

  2. Email your electronic photo submission to nepid@nisgaanation.ca.

    Step 1 – take an electronic photo with a phone, camera, or tablet of the person looking directly into the camera with space above and around the person, white or neutral background, proper lighting, from the waist level up.

    Step 2 – email the image to nepid@nisgaanation.ca (subject: Nisg̱a’a Citizenship Card Request) and include full name, birth certificate, and current address along with the photo.

  3. What happens next? Your photo will be reviewed and, if acceptable, will be processed and mailed within two weeks.
